One of the things I had to regret the most when I moved back to Canada, was to no longer be able to have Dr. Majeed for my dentist. I found him very good. He explained carefully everything he was doing. He wasn't wishy washy but had very clear plans, told me exactly what he was going to do, and proceeded in a confident way that put me at ease. His assistant was excellent and obviously had worked for some time with him. Their good relationship added to my confidence. The receptionist as well was on the ball, and treated me in a very kindly manner. I went to Dr. Majeed for several years while I lived in Ogdensburg. He is very honest and says what he knows has to be said and done. He is not a cosmetic dentist and when he had to pull my teeth only did so after making all the effort he could make to save them. I didn't want to have root surgery, and he always did the best he could after I made that decision. He is not the kind of dentist that will be manipulated by his patients. He does what is best for them, and if they don't respect that and trust his judgement, then they should go elsewhere.
Dr. Majeed and the staff at Ogdensburg Dental Clinic are amazing. My wife and I both use Dr, Majeed as our primary dentist and we've always had a great experience there. My wife gets pretty anxious at the dentist office and they've always been great at keeping her at ease ... and I just completed all of my upper extractions and had them create an upper denture for me as well. Best of all, the pricing is VERY fair! Thanks again for the great dentistry care in Ogdensburg.
My husband had a crown fall off, but his dentist was gone for a week. So, he called the ODC to see if someone could see him and fix it. The receptionist behaved in a vicious manner. She said that it was my husband's dentist's problem and he'd have to fix it. My daughter had also gone there about four years ago. She got a mouth full of sores after her visit. So, not only is it likely to not be a sterile atmosphere, the receptionist is a miserable person with an ugly personality.
Absolutely disgraceful. I was early to my appointment, and the dentist came in 10 minutes late. He then started yelling at the receptionist. (his wife?) They got me in and took a few xrays on the oldest xray machine I have ever seen. Once I was in the chair, I let him know I am not good with needles but I am fine with any dental procedures. He demanded that I look him in the eye when he was giving me the novicane shot and because I needed to look at the light, he said "it's too early for this, you need to leave." He left the room and I got myself up and left. Worst Dentist in Ogdensburg.
